[glow=red,2,300]John's film: Yoko and Me[/glow] This short colour offering was shot around the 15th December 1968, it was filmed at Kenwood. Scenes included Yoko talking about her art whilst John is sat playing acoustic guitar, and out in the garden John & Yoko are seen singing "Everybody had a hard year" with the cameraman walking towards them and John then pointing directly into the lens; "Surprise, Surprise"...

"I've Got a Feeling" from the 1970 album Let It Be is actually a combination of two unfinished songs strung together: Paul's "I've Got a Feeling" and John's "Everybody Had a Hard Year", with the main guitar riff coming from John's unfinished "Watching Rainbows". Paul's song was written for his girlfriend Linda, whom he soon married, telling her that she was the girl he had always been looking for. John's song was a litany where every line started with the word "everybody". While Paul's song was very optimistic, John had actually had a hard year - he had divorced his wife, Cynthia, was estranged from his son Julian, and Yoko had a miscarriage, he was arrested for drug possession, and he had grown deeply unhappy in the Beatles. In the film Let It Be, John claims jokingly he wrote "Everybody Had a Hard Year" the night before.
