[ ]John Lennon's home, 'Kenwood', Wood Lane, Cavendish Road, St George's Hill, Weybridge, Surrey. UK
This resource forum is dedicated to Kenwood, the house on St George's Hill, Weybridge where John Lennon lived between 1964 and 1968. It is primarily intended as a resource & repository of visual material: photos/video etc. I may also post written material from time to time. It is purely meant for the entertainment of fans (indeed assuming there is anyone?) who, like me, has an acute disposition for John Lennon's creativity at Kenwood from that period, & the music created throughout these years. * Tip: use 'Search'...
Hey Bulldog! You can talk to me. I'm always keen to receive stories, pictures and tales from John Lennon's time at Kenwood

"Weybridge won't do at all. I'm just stopping at it, like a bus stop. Bankers and stockbrokers live there; they can add figures and Weybridge is what they live in and they think it's the end, they really do. I think of it every day - me in my Hansel and Gretel house. I'll take my time; I'll get my real house when I know what I want."From "How Does A Beatle Live? John Lennon Lives Like This" Maureen Cleave, 1966.

What Goes On. . I have included subjects that I find particularly interesting here, you can do the same?!

[ ]Kenwood Calender
Between 1964-1968

Your Mother Should Know
Home of John, Cynthia and son Julian Lennon from the end of July 1964. . .
. . On the 10th December 1968, 'Kenwood' was put up for sale following John and Cynthia's divorce on the 8th November. Yoko moved out of Hanover Gate soon after the night of Two Virgins.

Dating images from 1964 to 1968 can be an onerous task, unless the date recorded. Most experts can get a near enough date of fan pics, but a nigh on exact is impossible. The 'Kenwood Calender' should jog any Apple Scruff memories ..if you met Lennon? .. took a picture & recorded the date (it doesn't have to be in that order) then mail

[ ]John Lennon's Juke Box

In 1989, a Bristol music promoter purchased at auction an old Discomatic jukebox owned by John Lennon at Kenwood in the 1960s. Its track list, written in Lennon's own hasty handwriting, catalogued 41 remarkable discs of American soul, R&B, and rock 'n' roll -- a collection that shaped his musical education and became the musical style source from which the Beatles sound derived. Below is a complete list of all the 45s included in the jukebox.

On June 29, 1967, Beatles Monthly editor Johnny Dean and photographer Leslie Bryce visited John at his Tudor-styled home "Kenwood" in the stockbroker belt of Weybridge. Bryce photographed John in various interesting places throughout his home, even taking some lovely photos of John and Julian together. Over the years, a myriad of pictures taken that day have appeared in issues of the Beatles Monthly...
